To celebrate getting my website completely bug free and figured out I decided to post a blog photo. I’ve been dealing with my website for a week now and managed to get it to a point where it crashed and I had to completely start from scratch. Not knowing what I was doing half the time I’ve managed to figure it out and voila! I think I’ll be keeping this design for awhile, it’s cool new and fun. I hope you enjoy the new design as much as I do. Be prepared for a few minor tweaks but overall the final product is here to stay.
Also, because I can’t call this a photo blog if I don’t post photos. I’ve posted a photo I took in Kosovo that I happened to stumble upon while looking through old photos. This photo was taken of a family we visited in the mountains. They lived quite a ways from town and thus meant they relied on their own means for food. The father, pictured, seemed really proud to pose with his potatoes he was about to plant. Or he was really happy that American journalists were visiting him. You can be the judge. Looking through all my Kosovo photos has really made me miss photojournalism. I miss telling stories and making a difference with my photos. Maybe that’s the motivation I need to make my own stories here in Omaha. We’ll see what I come up with. Enjoy!
